Talitha Bateman, Tichina Arnold, Peter Facinelli & more join STX horror flick ‘Countdown’

Production is already underway for the upcoming film Countdown starring Elizabeth Lail (You, Once Upon a Time). Now it’s been announced that Talitha Bateman (Annabelle: Creation), Peter Facinelli (Twilight franchise), P.J Byrne (Rampage), Anne Winters (13 Reasons Why), Tom Segura (Instant Family), Jordan Calloway (Riverdale) and Tichina Arnold (Everyone Hates Chris) are also joining the project.

Lail plays a young nurse who downloads an app that tells her she only has three days to live. As time ticks away, a mysterious figure begins to haunt her. Now she must find a way to survive before her time runs out. Justin Dec is directing the project and also wrote the script. John Rickard (Final Destination 5, A Nightmare on Elm Street), Sean Anders, John Morris, and Zack Schiller (Escape Plan franchise) are producing.

Chairman of STXfilms, Adam Fogelson stated: “STX has worked closely with Justin and our outstanding team of producing partners to cast some of the most exciting young actors working today for Countdown. Countdown is a completely original premise and a fun and scary script, and I can’t wait to see what this amazing cast does with their roles.”
