The Conjuring universe focuses on supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The pair will be returning for The Conjuring 3, which is set to be out September 2020.

Last year Farmiga spoke with EW on the set of another Conjuring spinoff film, Annabelle Comes Home. “Conjuring 3 is coming, and it will be a doozy. It will be big. So for me, visiting these characters [in Annabelle Comes Home], it’s like practicing your scales and doing a few arpeggios before having to dive deep into the next one. Because the next one is massive.”

The Conjuring 3 is currently in pre-production and is slated to be in theaters on Sept. 11, 2020. So stay tuned for more updates and follow ScaryNerd for more.

  1. I enjoy this series of movies, who doesn’t like to be scared every once in a while lol? The marketing team is teasing the fans and I hope the Conjuring 3 lives up to the hype

  2. The Conjuring was probably the scariest movie I’ve seen. I think because it’s based on true events. The image released is awesome. I love Vera Farmiga. Glad to see her in #3. Can’t wait!

  3. Well, the box office, and the fans, have spoken. And from the image release, looks like it’s not going to disappoint the fans come September, 2020.
