The Babysitter Netflix

‘The Babysitter 2’ is Happening at Netflix with Director McG

Back in 2017, director McG and Netflix released the survival horror film The Babysitter. Apparently it was a success, even though Netflix keeps their numbers under wraps. But it appears that this one had enough success to warrant a sequel.  The announcement came from the recent issue of Production Weekly and also states that McG will be returning as director. The script will be penned by “American Vandal” executive producer, Dan Lagana.

The first film followed Cole (Judah Lewis) as he discovers that his babysitter, Bee (Samara Weaving) is a part of a satanic cult. While babysitting, Bee and her friends take part in a ritual sacrifice ceremony. Once Cole discovers the secret he becomes the target of their murderous intentions. We won’t spoil the film, but the conclusion of the film does leave the story open for sequel.
