Shudder and Terror Films to bring us ‘Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire’
The Hell House LLC surprised horror fans in 2016 with a found footage film that somehow was genuinely creepy. In 2018 the sequel Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel, failed to bring the uneasiness of the first film. Now the filmmakers are back and hoping to bring more of the terrifying haunting to life.
The film entitled Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire, will be distributed by Terror Films. It will come exclusively to Shudder’s streaming services this fall, hopefully in time for Halloween! The latest installment will reunite writer/director Stephen Cognetti and producer Joe Bandelli. Much of the original cast is also returning. Including Ryan Jennifer Jones, Danny Bellini, Gore Abrams, Adam Schneider, Theodore Bouloukos and Jared Hacker.
Shudder Manager Craig Engler says that he is excited to bring the final act to the streaming service.

Official Synopsis:
“In House LLC III: Lake of Fire, guests both past and present will be forced to battle for their souls as all is revealed about the infamous Abaddon Hotel and the evil that dwells there. Set one year after the events of Hell House LLC II, the hotel is on the verge of being torn down when it is purchased by billionaire Russell Wynn (Gabriel T. Chytry) as the new home for his popular interactive show, Insomnia. He invites journalist Venessa Sheppard (Elizabeth Vermilyea) and her crew to record everything happening inside the hotel leading up to the performance. But they soon encounter a more nefarious plot, one that threatens to unleash a veritable hell on earth. “
The series saw Cognetti succeed in reviving the found footage genre of horror. Bringing a vérité style, that managed to genuinely creep out audiences. If you’ve seen the film you know that clown scene above put everyone on edge!
“Returning to its roots”
Terror Film’s president Joe Dain says Hell House III will be more like the original. “Hell House III will be taking a cue from the original Hell House LLC, returning to its roots to capture the same intensity and fear that fans and critics alike fell in love with.”
