Actor Josh Stewart says "lock the door" The Collector 3 is on the way!

The Collector and The Collection were one of the best slasher franchises to come out in the 2000s/2010s. Fans have long been clamoring for another continuation of the story. Especially since the films’ protagonist, Arkin, entraps the infamous Collector at the end of the second installment! However, up until now these pleas seemed to be falling on deaf ears. That was until the franchise star Josh Stewart took to Twitter to make our nightmares come true!

Stewart, who has played the reluctant hero Arkin in the series, shared a poster for The Collector 3 on Twitter. Captioning the ominous image with the words: “Lock the door.”

Stewart’s Arkin has been through hell at the hands of the mysterious Collector. Who has a knack for laying out elaborate traps to collect his victims. Stewart returned for the sequel, and defeated the collector and his insane funhouse-esque of terrors. While script details have yet to be released, we can assume that the new film will pick up where The Collection left off. At the end of the sequel Arkin finds the collector’s real house and entraps him. The ending has been one of the main reasons for fans wanting a sequel. Hopefully that means we will get to see Arkin give the collector a taste of his own medicine.

The Collector franchise were co-written by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, who also were behind Saw IV, Saw V, Saw VI, and Saw VII. Dunstan also helmed both Collector films as director and according to Bloody-Disgusting, he’ll be back for this installment.

We hope to get more details soon but for now we can hope to see Arkin and the collector again soon. This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the first installment.
