Netflix Lands Tom Holland and Chris Evans ‘The Devil All the Time’

On Wednesday The Wrap announced that Netflix had acquired the star studded adaptation of ‘The Devil All the Time.’

This midwestern gothic tells the stories of a serial killer couple, a corrupt sheriff and a preacher. So, fans may get to see some of their favorite superheroes turn into villains. If you need any other reasons to be excited just take a look at the rest of the cast. Which also will include Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska and Gabriel Ebert.

The synopsis according to Netflix: In a place called Knockemstiff, Ohio, a forgotten backwoods of this country, where a storm of faith, violence and redemption is brewing. Out of desperation to save his dying wife, Willard Russell turns to prayer which succumbs to sacrifice. This sets protagonist Arvin, Willard’s son (Holland), on his path from bullied kid to a man who knows when to take action. “The Devil All the Time” involves a nefarious cast of characters that is told across two decades.

The film is based on the 2011 Donald Ray Pollock novel by the same name, with Antonio and Paulo Camposas writing the screenplay. The film expected to begin principle photography in Alabama sometime this February. So stay tuned for more updates.
