Final Pet Sematary trailer proves “Dead is Better”

Last week we found out author Stephen King feels Pet Sematary is one of his darkest stories.  The final trailer for the upcoming film dropped today, and it’s the stuff of nightmares.

Everything you know about this story still won’t prepare you“-Bloody Disgusting

The calm, quietness of the beginning completely contrast with the madness toward the end. Jud Crandall (John Lithgow) consoles his grieving neighbor Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) and urges him to “undo” anything that he has set into motion. But Louis doesn’t listen, and after seeing Ellie Creed (Jeté Laurence), quickly going from sweet and innocent to straight macabre. We have to agree, “dead is better.”

Film Synopsis: “Based on the novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed, who, after relocating with his wife Rachel and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall, setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.”

The latest adaptation of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary opens nationwide on Thursday, April 4th.
