Fangoria’s Upcoming ‘V.F.W.’ Rounds Out the Perfect Horror Cast

Fangoria has assembled quite the horror cast for its upcoming film entitled ‘V.F.W.’ The film focuses on a group of ex-military pals who battle against a deranged drug dealer.

Today, Deadline reported that William Sadler (Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey), Fred Williamson (From Dusk Till Dawn), Martin Kove (Cobra Kai), David Patrick Kelly (The Warriors), and George Wendt (Cheers), are all joining the ranks. They will be joining ‘Get Out’ star Stephen Lang when filming begins next month in Dallas.

For those living under a rock, Fangoria is an American horror film fan magazine, which has been in publication since the late 1970s.

‘V.F.W,’ will be directed by Joe Begos (Almost Human), and the script was penned by Max Brallier and Matthew McArdle. The plot will follow Fred (Lang) and his military buddies as they must defend their local V.F.W. post. They must also defend an innocent teen as they battle against a deranged drug dealer, and his relentless army of punk mutants. Also attached to the film are stars, Sierra McCormick, Dora Madison, Tom Williamson, Travis Hammer, Graham Skipper, and Jesse Kove. Producing the film is Dallas Sonnier and Amanda Presmyk, with Begos’ partner and editor Josh Ethier.
