Zelda Comes to Play in Latest ‘Pet Sematary’ Teaser
This year Stephen King fans will see many of his original stories come back to the big and small screens. The ‘Stephen King Renaissance‘ began back in 2017 with IT: Chapter One and will be in full swing this year. While we are still patiently waiting for Pennywise’s return, Paramount gave us a new glimpse into another fan favorite, Pet Sematary.
The latest teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Pet Sematary remake dropped yesterday. This time around we finally get our first glimpse of Zelda, Rachel Creed’s deformed sister. Many fans of Mary Lambert’s 1989 adaptation will remember Zelda’s scenes as some of the most horrifying of the original film. Directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer, and stars Jason Clarke, John Lithgow, and Amy Seimetz. Alyssa Brooke Levine will play Zelda.
The ominous masked children also make another appearance in the latest teaser. It’s still unclear what role these kids will play in the film. However, children always add an extra layer of creepiness, so horror fans are sure to love them. Check out the new teaser below and mark your calendars, Pet Sematary will hit theaters on April 5th 2019. Personally, I can’t wait until the undead Gage Creed makes his appearance. He’s already played with Jud and now he wants to play with you….
Synopsis: Louis Creed, his wife Rachel and their two children Gage and Ellie move to a rural home where they are welcomed and enlightened about the eerie ‘Pet Sematary’ located near their home. After the tragedy of their cat being killed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the mysterious pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems, as it proves to the Creeds that sometimes, dead is better.- IMDB
