[Trailer] ‘Werewolves Within’ Teaser Seeks Out the Bad Neighbor
The new horror-comedy Werewolves Within just dropped their first teaser for the Tribeca bound film. The film was written by Mishna Wolff, directed by Josh Ruben and is a take on a horror inspired video game. In the Ubisoft game of the same name, the players are set in a medieval-fantasy town that is being attacked by a werewolf.
However, the film follows a newly assigned forest ranger after he checks into a quaint Vermont inn. Just as a snowstorm settles over the town cutting him and the townsfolk off from civilization, a creature begins picking off the towns people one at a time. Werewolves Within stars Sam Richardson (Promising Young Woman), Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows“), Milana Vayntrub, Michaela Watkins, Catherine Curtin(“Stranger Things“), Cheyenne Jackson (“Watchman“), George Basil and Sarah Burns(“Barry“).

“Werewolves Within is essentially about a divided town that [gets] snowed in at the local lodge,” filmmaker Josh Ruben, who directed last year’s Scare Me, recently told EW. “The forest ranger, played by Sam Richardson, and the local postal worker, Milana Vayntrub, try to keep the peace while also figuring out what the hell is lurking in the shadows, terrorizing this town.”
You can check out the latest teaser for Werewolves Within below. The film will screen at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival before releasing in theaters on June 25 and on demand July 2. As always be sure to follow ScaryNerd for more of all things horror, sci-fi and more.
