'Unsolved Mysteries' Season Three Coming to Netflix Summer 2022

Netflix announced that the third volume of the reboot of the true crime show, Unsolved Mysteries will premiere in summer of 2022 according to sources for Deadline. The series comes from the original creators Cosgrove/Meurer Productions and Stranger Things exec producer Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps Entertainment.

The series will return with new mysterious disappearances, tragic events, and unexplained phenomenon. After Netflix first launched the reboot, they were flooded with over 5,000 tips on the cases. One of the segments even persuaded the FBI to reopen the case of the unexplained death of Alonzo Brooks. The original series that was hosted by Robert Stack was a staple of every 90’s kid childhood, and likely inspired most of society’s obsession with true crime.
