See red balloons haunt the It: Chapter Two cast in viral marketing campaign
We’ve been waiting for the It: Chapter Two trailer since CinemaCon last month. The highly anticipated sequel to 2017’s hit is based on the Stephen King novel ‘IT.’ And follows the adult “Losers Club” 27 years after the events of It: Chapter One.
James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean star as the Losers club all grown up. With Jaeden Martell, Wyatt Oleff, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs, and Jack Dylan Grazer back reprising their younger roles. Bill Skarsgård is also back as the sinister clown Pennywise.
It: Chapter Two will see the adult versions of “The Losers’ Club” head back to Derry. They now must honor their blood oath, because Pennywise is awake, and hungry for more. We recently learned that the trailer for the film will arrive on May 9th. As fans rejoiced, the stars took to social media to show us just how close Pennywise is.
Beverly Marsh – Jessica Chastain and Sophia Lillis
Both versions of the Bev shared images showing a red balloon in the distance. As we know from CinemaCon footage, the adult Beverly will have quite the reunion with Pennywise.
Bill Denbrough – James McAvoy and Jaeden Martell
Ben Hanscom – Jay Ryan and Jeremy Ray Taylor
Richie Tozier – Finn Wolfhard
Bill Hader the adult version of Richie, does not have Twitter or Instagram account.

Stan Uris – Andy Bean and Wyatt Oleff
Director Andy Muschietti and Producer Barbara Muschietti also joined in the fun with red balloons of their own.
If that didn’t get you excited, Stephen King also took to Twitter to praise the sequel.
So far details about the sequel have been kept under wraps. But we’ve heard it has one of the bloodiest scenes ever in a movie.
