‘Orphan: First Kill’: See Isabelle Fuhrman and Julia Stiles Show Off Bloody Faces on Last Week of Filming
It’s only been little over a month since Deadline broke the news that Isabelle Fuhrman would be reprising her Orphan role for a new sequel. Orphan: First Kill is a prequel to the 2009 film and made Fuhrman’s reprisal possible with the use of forced perspective shooting and a world-class makeup team.
Joining Fuhrman in Orphan: First Kill is Julia Stiles, and William Brent Bell (The Boy) will be directing with a script from David Coggeshall (Prey). Back in 2009 Fuhrman was just about 12 years old when she brought Esther to the screen. It was revealed in the film that her character wasn’t actually a child but, instead she was a murderous 33-year-old woman named Leena Klammer.

Orphan: First Kill‘s synopsis is as follows: “Leena Klammer orchestrates a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility and travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. But Leena’s new life as “Esther” comes with an unexpected wrinkle and pits her against a mother who will protect her family at any cost.”
