‘Men’ Trailer: Odd Smiling Men Haunt Jessie Buckley in New A24 Horror-Drama

Why are these men so creepy when they smile? Today, A24 today released a full trailer for Alex Garland’s anticipated horror film Men. The film stars 2022 Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things), Rory Kinnear (No Time to Die) and Paapa Essiedu (‘I May Destroy You‘).

The film, which opens in theaters on May 20, follows Harper (Buckley), who heads to the beautiful English countryside alone. Trying to heal and find peace after a traumatic experience, she begins taking walks through the nearby woods. However when she begins to feel that someone is stalking her, she turns to the locals who reassure her that she is actually the problem.

The filmmaker is currently already working on his next A24 project, Civil War, which is an action drama that stars Kirsten Dunst (The Power of the Dog), Wagner Moura (Narcos), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Dune) and Cailee Spaeny (The Craft: Legacy). Garland will direct that film set in a near-future America from his original screenplay.
