Kevin Bacon to attend ATX Television Festival for canceled ‘Tremors’ series panel

Last year fans learned that there was a Tremors series in the works. The announcement that Kevin Bacon was attached to the project, only added to the excitement. Reprising his role as Valentine McKee, this would have marked his first return to the franchise since the original 1990 film. Unfortunately, the series was canceled by Syfy after the pilot was filmed.

The Tremors series was due to pick up 25 years after the Graboid worms attacked the small town of Perfection, Nevada. With Bacon’s character dealing with age, alcohol and a hero complex. The trailer, which you can find below, has been making it’s way round the internet lately. Which is the only footage that has been shown publicly, until now.

Earlier this year, ATX Television Festival announced that the ‘Tremors‘ project would have a panel at this years event. The panel was to include writer/executive producer Andrew Miller and members of the cast. Now, they have officially announced that Kevin Bacon will also be joining the fun.
