HBO is Coming to Haunt Your Dreams with ‘Folklore’

It looks like HBO is here to cure all of your winter woes with its original horror anthology. The series Folklore, features a collection of different cultural myths and superstitions from six Asian countries. Including installments from Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, this thrilling anthology will bring Asian horror stories to American fans. The show has already premiered on HBOAsia’s streaming platforms. But, yesterday, Entertainment Weekly exclusively revealed the US trailer, and gave us our first look at the spine tingling sagas. Therefore, with these original twisted new tales, horror fans are sure to be in for a treat.

These six, one hour episodes will include stories of supernatural entities, the occult, and other cultural horror mythologies. And featuring different directors, and filmed in each of the country’s respective language. As a result, Folklore will be giving US audiences a new and unique perspective on the genre. The new horror anthology will drop on all HBO streaming platforms on February 1st. So, be sure to clear your calendar, you’re going to want to binge watch them all.

Folklore will be available on February 1st on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand.
