‘Antlers’: Guillermo del Toro and Scott Cooper Join Virtual Comic-Con@Home Panel

Searchlight Pictures will be heading to the virtual event Comic-Con@Home and bringing its latest horror film with it. Antlers is an upcoming tale set in an isolated Oregon town, starring Keri Russell. The event will take place on July 25, with producer Guillermo del Toro and filmmaker Scott Cooper.

According to sources for Deadline, they will dive into a discussion on how they designed the Wendigo-inspired monsters and their approach to the film’s visual style.

[More Horror News] ‘Halloween Kills’ Officially Delaying Release to 2021

Antlers was originally due to open in theaters in April however like most 2020 films, the release was delayed. Joining Russell in the film are stars Jesse Plemons and Graham Greene. “Set in an isolated Oregon town, Antlers follows a middle-school teacher and her sheriff brother who become embroiled with her enigmatic student whose dark secrets lead to terrifying encounters with a legendary ancestral creature who came before them.”
