American Horror Story’s Finn Wittrock Says S10 “Is Different Than Other Seasons”

We are still waiting for the mysterious theme of FX’s American Horror Story season 10 to be revealed. Even though we have gotten a few clues from the creator, Ryan Murphy, we still aren’t much closer to finding out what horrors the cast will face in Provincetown, Mass.

Recently, actor Finn Wittrock spoke with EW to discuss his new movie Long Weekend. Since he had just arrived in Massachusetts to film more of the season 10, he revealed a few things about the upcoming season.

“I think this is OK to say, I think the suspense in this and the tight, constrained nature of the story is different than other seasons,” Wittrock said. “I was really interested in trying to mount the pressure in the right way, if that makes sense. It is different in tone than a lot of the other seasons.”

Wittrock has played many unusual characters throughout the American Horror Story seasons. However he says that his season 10 character is “the most ‘normal’ person that I’ve played on this show. That’s not saying much. What’s fun about this show is that no two things are ever the same,” he says. “It’s like, ‘Do you wanna come in and do this single episode or do you wanna come in and be the lead of this season?’ ‘Do you wanna come be a crazy psycho killer?’ ‘Do you wanna come in and be this relatively normal dad?’ You just never know what you’re gonna get.”

Season 10 of American Horror Story is set to premiere sometime in 2021. AHS stars Sarah Paulson, Macaulay Culkin, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, and Angelica Ross. Be sure to follow ScaryNerd for more of all things horror, sci-fi and more.

  1. Wonderful blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Thank you!
