The latest addition to Netflix’s ever-growing library of true crime, series and documentaries, is coming to your screens tomorrow! Just one day before the release, Netflix gave fans a trailer that teases the details of the case. The series follows the infamous disappearance of a 3 year-old girl, Madeleine McCann. She was abducted from her bed from while vacationing at a resort in Portugal, with her parents. While she hasn’t been seen since her disappearance, the new documentary looks to explore all the possibilities.
The trailer depicts the case, as one with many twists and turns. One investigator states, “I’ve done thousands of cases, but with the Madeleine case, I’ve seen the worst things a human being can see.” As the police begin to round up suspects, they also begin to look into Madeleine’s parents. The trailer suggests that the parents had revised their timeline of specific events. Although, the series also looks to other possible suspects and motives, including human trafficking and sexual predators.
‘The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann,’ features interviews with over 40 contributors, including investigators, journalist, and friends of the family. However, it does not feature any contributions or new footage from Kate or Gerry McCann.
