The holidays are always a stressful time for adults, but what if you had the extra stress of the apocalypse? The new horror-comedy Silent Night, starring Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Lucy Punch, Lily-Rose Depp, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Roman Griffin Davis, Sope Dirisu, Rufus Jones, and Annabelle Wallis, explores this question. Silent Night will hit theaters and AMC+ December 3, 2021.
The trailer (below) focuses on a family as they gather the things to have a perfect Christmas party with their friends. As everyone arrives, we see that it’s a not so normal holiday season, which we can all understand, right? We see the adults grapple with their own demise, even as they try to keep their spirits up.

Things spin even further out of control when the kids start questioning what is happening around the world. The film is the feature debut of writer/director Camille Griffin and was produced by Matthew Vaughn who produced the Kingsman franchise. Silent Night made waves when it debuted at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival.
