‘Resurrection’ Trailer Sees Rebecca Hall’s Perfect Life Disrupted By Mysterious Man
The new trailer (below) has arrived from IFC Films for the upcoming psychological thriller Resurrection. The film made its debut in January at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. Andrew Semans wrote and directed the film that stars Rebecca Hall and Tim Roth. Also featured are stars Grace Kaufman, Michael Esper, Angela Wong Carbone, Josh Drennen, Rosemary Howard, and Winsome Brown.
A woman’s (Hall) carefully constructed life is upended when an unwelcome shadow from her past (Roth) returns, forcing her to confront the monster she’s evaded for two decades. Hall is no stranger to the horror genre, recently she could be seen in the 2021 film The Night House, which just took home a Chainsaw Award for best screenplay.

In the trailer for Resurrection we watch as Hall deals with the fallout from Roth‘s arrival, even recording a video for her daughter. “If you’re watching this then something went wrong,” she states. As the trailer unfolds we see Margaret (Hall) become increasingly paranoid and erratic. When viewers finally sit down with David (Roth), we can see Margaret is terrified when he explains “I just want you to be happy.”
