They are also currently in production on other films like Orphan: First Kill to the Pet Sematary prequel, Something’s Wrong With Rose and Curfew. Now they have their sights set on the Pumpkinhead property for which they already own the rights.

The original film was directed by Stan Winston and starred Lance Henriksen as a grieving father. After his son is accidentally run down by a group of young tourist, he decides to resurrect a monster to exact his revenge.

While sources for BD say there is a completed script we still have no idea who will be directing the new take on the classic monster. So far, the franchise is made up of four films, the original, Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, and made-for-TV follows ups Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes and Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud.
