New Shudder Anthology ‘Horror Noire’ Sets Cast
Shudder has announced casting details for a brand new horror anthology film, Horror Noire. Deadline exclusively broke the news that Lesley-Ann Brandt (Lucifer), Luke James (“The Chi”) and Erica Ash (Violet) have joined the cast. Also attached to the anthology are Brandon Mychal Smith, Sean Patrick Thomas, Peter Stormare, Malcolm Barrett, Rachel True, Tone Bell, Lavell Crawford, Tony Todd, Nathaniel Logan McIntyre and Lenora Crichlow.
Author of Horror Noire: Blacks in American Horror Films from the 1890s to Present, Dr. Robin R. Means Coleman, is also consulting on the anthology. Producers of Shudder’s Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror documentary, Ashlee Blackwell, Phil Nobile Jr. and Kelly Ryan will also consult.

The Shudder Original has announced that it will feature six stories told over a two hour long film. All of which feature new work from Black directors and screenwriters to showcase horror stories from a new perspective. The six stories are as follows: “Daddy,” “Bride Before You,” “Brand of Evil,” “The Lake,” “Sundown” and “Fugue State”. Rachel True and Tony Todd will star in “Fugue State” from co-writters Steven Barnes and Tananarive Due.
