Netflix Unveils 'Fear Street' Trilogy Teaser and New Posters

Netflix has finally given fans the first look at the three movie event, Fear Street, based on the horror series by R.L. Stine. The ambitious film trilogy was completely shot last summer and each film will be released over a three week period.

The synopsis reads: “In 1994, a group of teenagers discovers that the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected — and that they may be the next targets. Based on R.L. Stine’s best selling horror series, the trilogy follows the nightmare through Shadyside’s sinister history.”

Each of the three installments will take place in a different time period within the same town. Fear Street Part 1: 1994, which will hit the streaming platform on July 2nd will set up the story that spans decades into the past. Fear Street Part 2: 1978, will premiere on July 9th, followed by Fear Street Part 3: 1666 on July 16th.
