Netflix Will Take Fans To New Raccoon City in New ‘Resident Evil’ Series
Netflix has finally revealed their long rumored, live action Resident Evil TV series. They revealed the news via Twitter and gave fans a taste of what will come in the zombie action series. The series will take viewers to New Raccoon City and follow the family of villain Albert Wesker.
The Resident Evil TV series will be made up of eight, one-hour long episodes. The first season is being helmed by Andrew Dabb (Supernatural), and the first two episodes will be directed by Browen Hughes (The Walking Dead).

The plot of the Resident Evil TV series will focus on the Wesker kids, who have just moved to New Raccoon City and who discover the truth of their new town. The first episode is aptly entitled “Welcome to New Raccoon City,” suggesting that Netflix may be sticking close to the video game cannon.
