Midsummer Scream: Halloween Season Begins in Long Beach this August
Midsummer Scream, the largest Halloween and horror fan convention in the world, is back August 3rd and 4th in Long Beach, California. This year, for the first time ever, Midsummer Scream will take over the entire Long Beach Convention Center. Effectively doubling the convention space from the previous years. Over 30,000 fans are expected to descend upon Long Beach to enjoy a weekend of Halloween and horror festivities.
With noteworthy appearances from horror icons to a celebration of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, there is something for everyone. Meanwhile the convention will host over 350 unique vendors, live podcasts, and celebrity panels. Midsummer Scream will also host presentations from many of Southern California’s major haunt attractions. Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, and Knott’s Scary Farm, will give guests exclusive sneak peeks at what terrors they have in store this coming October. Also join in the fun as Midsummer celebrates the 50th anniversary of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion.
