‘Labyrinth’ Sequel Lands ‘Doctor Strange’ Director Scott Derrickson
Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has officially been tapped to head to the Goblin Kingdom. EW exclusively revealed that Derrickson will direct a sequel (not, a remake or reboot) to the 1986 film Labyrinth.
Most recently Derrickson had departed from the MCU sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness due to creative differences. That position was later taken by Sam Raimi. Now Derrickson is free to tackle a new installment of the fantasy film for TriStar Pictures.
