‘Escape Room 2’ Pushed to 2022 Released Date
While we all wait to get our Covid vaccines, production companies are finally looking at their upcoming release schedules. The Sony/Screen Gems horror film Escape Room 2 will now open on Jan. 7, 2022.
Escape Room 2 was one that fell victim to the pandemic closures, having been moved at least three times from its original date of April 2020. The sequel to the 2019 film is one of the studio’s micro-budget films, which is why the studio is sticking with a full theatrical release. Instead of opting to bringing it to a streaming service, like so many other films.
