Netflix is continuing our true crime obsession with the brand new docuseries “Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.” The mysterious case focuses on a Canadian student, Elisa Lam, who went missing at the Cecil Hotel in 2013.
Weeks after being reported, her body was discovered inside a water tank on the roof of the Los Angeles hotel. Even though the location of her body seemed odd. It was the security camera footage of Lam that spurred internet sleuths and true crime junkies to take notice. Even today there are still many unanswered questions surrounding her death.
