‘Chucky’ Episode 105 Review: “Little,Little, Lies” Reintroduces Fans to Characters From the Past
Episode 105 of Chucky is now available On Demand. Reader Beware Spoilers!
The Syfy and USA Networks series Chucky airs every Tuesday night and episode 105 “Little, Little, Lies” brought back some fan favorites from the franchise. Horror fans have been waiting for the moment we would see Charles Lee Ray’s long time love Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly) again. Luckily we not only get a glimpse of Tiffany but we also get to see the continuation of Nica Pierce’s (Fiona Dourif) story from Cult of Chucky.
We see Charles (in Nica form) and Tiffany as they have a playful moment together, reminiscent of the honeymoon suite in Bride of Chucky. Especially since we can see an unfortunate victim on the floor and another bound to a chair watching the couple. As usual, Chuck and Tiff can’t keep themselves from bickering back and forth.
Not only did her character reemerge, but we discover that it hasn’t been too long since we last saw Nica. Actually, it’s been just about two weeks since the demented doll placed part of his soul into her body and walked out of the hospital. But thats not all we discover, while Chucky might be inhabiting Nica, she is very much still inside as well. Something he doesn’t want Tiffany to know, just yet.

The series continues to dive into Charles and Tiffany’s past, all while bringing new horrors for Jake (Zackary Arthur) and his friends. Not only did we see that Nica is fresh from her break out of the hospital but also that the possessed doll is continuing to grow his cult. Which comes in the form of him finding a new and non-melted Good Guy Doll.
Viewers also finally see Jake have some good experiences for the first time in the series. Since the beginning of the show, he has lost his father, bullied relentlessly and is suspected of multiple murders. “Little, Little, Lies” sees Jake, Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) banning together to find the doll and to put an end to all the madness in their town. Jake and Devon finally take their relationship to a new level which is very endearing, considering the lonely life Jake has had thus far in the series.
As our teen trio is on the task of taking on the murderous doll, Junior (Teo Briones) starts to feel like an outsider. Just when they think they’ve beaten Chucky, they learn that he isn’t finished with them yet. But heads will definitely roll after the doll adds another body to his count in a very public way. Now that Tiffany and Nica have made their way to Hackensack, Andy (Alex Vincent) and Kyle (Christine Elise) are close behind them. (Which is what this writer has been waiting for since the series began.)
The series continues to have fun with its story, actors and characters. Which is perfectly in line with the Child’s Play franchise, after all, it has never taken itself very seriously. Episode 105 gave viewers more story, lore and profanity, but also fun, camp and comedic moments. With Jake’s storyline fully rooted in the reality of life and the supernatural storyline of Charles Lee Ray, Chucky shines with all the things that made Child’s Play a classic. Hopefully when Kyle and Andy show up we can bring the Chucky story full circle.
