Hulu is continuing their true crime obsession with the new limited series ‘Candy’. We first told you about the project, which was inspired by real events, nearly two years ago when Elizabeth Moss was slated to star. Joining Biel are stars Melanie Lynskey (‘Yellowjackets‘), Raúl Esparza (‘Dopesick’), Timothy Simmons (‘Station Eleven’) and Pablo Schreiber (‘Halo’). The official synopsis reads: Candy Montgomery is a 1980 housewife and mother who did everything right—good husband, two kids, nice house, even the careful planning and execution of transgressions—but when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom. With deadly results.
