‘American Horror Story: 1984’ Cast Revealed in First Look
Holy short shorts and spandex! The 80s are alive again in the new season of “American Horror Story.” Co-creator Ryan Murphy has finally revealed the first footage of “American Horror Story: 1984.” Via his Instagram account this morning, Murphy gave fans a glimpse of the cast all in their 80s garb. This installment features Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, and Leslie Grossman, as well as newbies to the series like Matthew Morrison, skier Gus Kenworthy, and “Pose’s” Angelica Ross.

Up until now, details surrounding the cast have been kept under wraps. But fans were disappointed when we recently learned that series regulars, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson, would not have starring roles in this season.
The 80s theme pays homage to the slasher horror genre of the time. Focusing heavily on the summer camp slashers, such as Friday the 13th. However, looks can be deceiving and the season could take a totally different turn. This is “American Horror Story” after all, and plot twists are common.
