The short, follows a nurse assigned to an elderly woman living in a unkept home. The nurse discovers a mysterious blue door and becomes the focus of a dark entity. However, once the door is opened, there will be devastating consequences. The feature version is described as having a strong dramatic core combined with a high-concept horror mythology.

The short received a lot of attention and even received a BAFTA nomination early this year. Several buyers were interested in the project. But Amblin beat out the competition and secured the rights. You can check out the short below. Be sure to follow ScaryNerd for more of all things horror!
