‘Mindhunter’ Season 2 Officially Coming This August
That’s right serial killer fiends! Jonathan Groff, Anna Torv, and Holt McCallany will all be coming back for “Mindhunter” season 2 which premieres on August 16. The news comes according to executive producer and series director David Fincher. In a recent podcast appearance he confirmed the date. “Yes, there is now [a date],” Fincher told KCRW’s The Treatment. “I’m not sure, I guess I’m allowed to say it, but, yeah, it’s gonna be the 16th.”
This echos the statement that executive producer, Charlize Theron, previously made on The Howard Stern Show back in May. “Mindhunter” follows Agents Holden Ford (Groff) and Bill Tench (McCallany) as they form a new department within the FBI in the 1970s. Together they interview and investigate serial killers to figure what makes them tick. The show was renewed in November 2017 after premiering just the month before. Since then fans have been waiting patiently for season two’s arrival.
“Mindhunter” will premiere on Netflix August 16th. So you still have plenty of time to binge season one over again. What do you hope to see in the upcoming season? Leave us a comment and let us know! Be sure to follow ScaryNerd for more of all things horror!
