‘The Salamander Lives Twice’: Adrien Brody and Vera Farmiga Will Lead Ant Timpson’s Next Film
Adrien Brody and Vera Farmiga will star in the upcoming sophomore film from Ant Timpson. The mystery thriller The Salamander Lives Twice, will be directed by Timpson according to sources at Deadline. XYZ Films will handle the worldwide sales at AFM 2020 Online.
Timpson last feature was the comedy thriller Come To Daddy starring Elijah Wood and Martin Donovan. Besides his last film, Timpson was also the creator creator of The ABCs Of Death anthology series and produced Turbo Kid, and The Greasy Strangler.
The Salamander Lives Twice is currently scheduled for production beginning in spring 2021. The screen play was written by Toby Harvard based on a story by Timpson and Harvard. The Salamander Lives Twice follows an injured man (Brody) who wakes up on a remote island with an impenetrable briefcase and no memory. He is discovered by a woman and her daughter (Farmiga), who are the last remaining members of a once prosperous dynasty.

Hopefully the worldwide pandemic will not delay any of the production dates. Adrien Brody is currently filming the EPIX TV series Chapelwaite based on a Stephen King novel.
