‘Shining Vale’: Premiere Date For New Horror Comedy Series Starring Courteney Cox Set At Starz
Starz has announced that they have set a March premiere date for the new horror-comedy series Shining Vale. The show stars Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear, Mira Sorvino, Gus Birney, Dylan Gage and many more. The series begins Sunday, March 6th at 10 PM across all Starz platforms in the U.S. and Canada. It will also air day and date internationally on StarzPlay across Europe, Latin America and Japan according to sources for Deadline.
Co-created by Trial & Error co-creator Jeff Astrof and Divorce creator Sharon Horgan. Shining Vale centers around the dysfunctional Phelps family who move to a small town, into a house with a dark past. Courteney Cox plays Patricia “Pat” Phelps, an author who became famous after writing a raunchy novel about her days as a “wild child.” Seventeen years later she is clean and convinced she is either depressed or possessed.

Having still not written a second novel, she feels completely unfulfilled and overlooked. Her husband and kids have little to do with her, she can’t even remember the last time she had sex with her husband. After having an affair with a young handyman, the couple decide one last effort to save their marriage. Pat and Terry (Kinnear) decide to take all their money and move to the suburbs, to an old house with history.
Shining Vale will make its premiere on Sunday, March 6th at 10 PM only on Starz platforms in the U.S. and Canada. Be sure to follow ScaryNerd for all things horror, sci-fi and more.
